Good for small needles

This needle threader also works well with small eye needles. I bought a few for myself and also for my seamstress friends.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • For old

She doesn't like thick thread

I've been using this for a few weeks for beginner embroiderers and I think it's great for finer embroidery thread but tricky to use with 6 strand thread.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Crumpled

Sturdy but still small enough for a travel kit.

I have nothing to add to the other reviews but I was concerned it might be too small for my travel set and is actually smaller and thinner than the picture shows. V is durable although coverage is good. Perfect for a small repair kit.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Almost never

Buy at least 2

Ingenious invention! Most hand sewers have a passion for those brittle, hair-thin aluminum wires that break after ten uses. A tool designed to last, this little bird naturally simplifies a task as simple as threading a needle. Especially good for older seamstresses with poor eyesight who are more afraid to thread a needle. Easy to use, cute and colorful, not easy to lose. Bought two for myself and gifted one to a friend!

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Well made and looks good but the hook closure is quite SMALL. Surprisingly. And a lot smaller than I expected. You'll need a magnifying glass and pinky fingers to get the most out of this thing. Probably best for fine sewing with very fine monofilament. I see it as a reliable tool for this type of work. However, if like me you're looking for a durable embroidery or cross stitch needle threader that uses multiple threads or a heavier/waxed thread, this won't work. be very helpful.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not sure

I've just received two of my hummingbird needle threaders and after trying a few different ones I really like this one, it's very easy to use and always works. and I am very glad that I bought them. Definitely worth buying. The only thing I really want is for this to be a great product and made so well the beak is covered with a lid. thought there would be more if there were more in circulation. But wow what a great product that works. I've had a few others where the wire snapped on the first…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
