That's exactly what I wanted!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Ideal for adding weather protection to almost any application. Unfortunately, this product is not sold anywhere, but Revain does! Keep it sealed to ensure the longevity of unused butyl.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Quality

super sticky Ideal for septic tanks.

Perfect for my septic tank risers. Super sticky, the connection came off the tape easily, 80-90 no fuss, and the price was good. I attempted to remove one of the risers after installation due to a bug, it was a chore even with all the extra levers off the riser. Would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Poor packaging of adhesives, sealants and lubes

This material is sticky but this is absolutely the worst packaging I have ever bought. The package came in a plastic bag and was completely taped to the bag on both sides, one side was crushed. It took me a good 45 minutes to peel off the plastic and part of the roll is unusable as it's completely crushed. I would return it but I have this work to do but will never order again!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Sticky, just how I like it!

Purchased to repair stitching on my 1959 vintage van. Used filler because it was recommended by a motor home dealer. I am very happy that I actually found butyl now. This stuff is stickier and seems to do the job just fine. The previous sealant on my RV was half putty/half butyl, and where the butyl is, it's pretty darn hard to remove. That is a good thing! Hope it lasts long.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Updates

This is good stuff.

I bought this unit to have on hand for RV repairs. This is great for fixing leaks in window frames, roofs or anywhere else in an RV. My van isn't leaking thank goodness but I'll be ready when it starts! I was afraid this tape would be melted mush because I ordered it in the summer. Instead of a "tape" it's more like putty that gets really sticky in the heat. Although my fears were unfounded. It arrived in perfect order but I recommend keeping it in the fridge until needed.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

It's the one on the tape

I've been looking for this stuff for a long time and bought several rolls of a similar stuff that doesn't do the sealing job that this stuff does. You know that piece of thick plastic that they stick between the steel car door and the door panel? The black stuff they tape it to the door with? That's all. I've learned that wetting fingers and tools prevents them from sticking to it, otherwise it's hard to work with because it sticks to everything. This is one of my new favorites, as is duct…

An absolute rescue to wear!

my dad and I worked with some guys who once gave us a strip of black goo and told us it was a game changer for torturing things. They named the bastard "Paki". Were they ever right! It's a lifesaver when it comes to fasteners you can't use two hands on! We used a lot of the strips these guys gave us, so my dad asked me to order these. Anyone who's been around knows these situations: 1. You need to drive a screw into a deep countersunk hole. The screw is NOT MAGNETIC and the hole is not big…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • can't remember but there was something
