There were a few issues with the cutter that I received. 1) The LED on the front of the cutter to illuminate the cutting area was not working. 2) On the left upper surface of the knife leg there were two areas that were frayed (each about 1 inch wide), one with rather sharp frayed edges that could catch material passing over it. 3) Overall the knife appeared to be in used condition. This product is AMAZING if you've never used an electric cutter before! It's not intended for heavy use, so if you're after something industrial, try another more expensive product.
