Will never buy from this seller again, this collar was either counterfeit or damaged when bought as the prongs don't stay together. You should have just bought from the manufacturer, that was a waste of money.

The product works great and doesn't leave gray marks on the tines themselves, but the chain does leave gray marks on the top of the neck. I'm assuming the chain isn't stainless steel. As I said, much better than the stainless steel collar, but not perfect.

Beautiful color! This time I got what I ordered. For the first time I have a chrome collar. This time I have stainless steel. Stainless steel keeps my white dog's neck from turning grey. I always trusted Herm Sprenger! They have always made top quality bits, chains and collars!

Unfortunately I won't be using this at all. It is almost impossible to remove it from the neck. If a dog attacks, they'll either die inside this thing or it will curl up and gouge out their eyes. I have mild arthritis in my hands and I can't get rid of it even in good conditions. It was a mistake on my part to buy this.

When properly adjusted, this collar makes an excellent dog training aid. Make sure you use the correct size collar for your dog. The collar should be placed under the dog's jaw and just behind the ears. If the collar is too loose, it will be less effective in correcting the dog's position. Use the smallest recommended connector size, this gives you more room for adjustment and offers more points of contact with your dog's neck.
