The case itself smells like chilli pepper but hopefully the smells will go away with use. The quality is pretty bad and I say that because every component of the product seems/feels pretty cheap. In summary, LTGEM does better things, but now I know better.

Good quality, good zippers with no squeaky handles. One side is not suitable for SSD with silicone case. Thank goodness via the page dedicated to cables.

I ordered this one for my Samsung T5 Portable SSD 500GB and it does what it promises. The SSD fits very well in the case and allows me to transport it and protect it from scratches or bumps. In fact, I almost never take the SSD out of the case, even when I'm working in the office or at home. I just connect one side of the USB cable to the SSD, thread it through the built-in dual-pull flash (which I found very handy), and plug the other side into my computer. It does exactly what I bought it for. That's money well spent. The zippers work well and the case is strong enough to protect it from anything it might encounter.

It has enough room for cables while some others clearly don't. If you're looking to slim down, this may not be the model for you. Otherwise this one does a job.

Fits Lexar LPSSD512-101. However, when you land in the molded part of the bay, there's too much of an air gap (there's nothing to secure it, it fits tight, the form factor isn't big enough to secure it, so lift it and your drive comes out and flip flops everywhere. So I put the disc in the mesh side and partially secured it there with velcro and it makes it a lot better, the flip flops don't flap around. The outside of the case is good to stop the flop.
