Bought for a Leopard Gecko. The big ole jagged seam down the center of the skull makes it pretty cheap. I'll try sanding, but I'm afraid that after the seam disappears I'll have to repaint. I wasn't looking for a project, but here we are.

Bought for my gecko. We love it! However, it needed a bit of TLC. It had sharp edges and a strange smell. It gets a little sticky when wet and a little flimsy. When I sanded down the sharp edges, it cracked a little in the eye. But overall it looks good and ok once a few things have been taken care of. EDIT: He still loves it. XD

I was a bit concerned after reading some other reviews but took a chance at the price. It was first soaked for about 2 days to make sure none of it got into the water and to see how the color would help, after that it was put in a dirty aquarium with live plants and fish, it has been working fine for several months now. Okay, here's the thing. It's an amazing size, I know it's safe for aquariums, my fish LOVE it and it looks pretty real (giving it a kid size). The only thing is two big discolored spots right on the forehead! One is yellow, the other black. The yellow stain looks like glue and to be honest it's gone in any light so no problem. The large black spot almost looks like spilled paint and nothing will remove it except sanding, which I don't want to do as it will remove all paint from the sanded area.
