Enhanced HEXBUG 🚀 VEX Robotics Offroad Truck Review

Our son spent hours putting this together. He worked hard, stayed focused and the problem was solved to finish him off. He was so proud of himself. And then the app doesn't even work for driving the truck. Forward is not smooth and does not turn at all. We are disappointed with this product.

It was great fun to build and play with my son. I also bought him one so we can race and someday build new things together with the parts. (His dream is to build battle bots so we plan on making some of the parts!) This is a great way to teach him the mechanics of things, programming and more.

Neat truck, great project. It's nice to be able to build something and actually play with it when you're done instead of just sitting on a shelf (Lego set). My son is 12 and was able to put this together in almost a day with just a few questions. Once completed it didn't work properly as others have pointed out. Step #22 shows connecting the two steering servo pieces together, there is a note to make sure the arrow lines up with the stop before you connect it. Of course it wasn't in the middle.
