Impressive Performance for Boring Tool

Based on my observations, this indexable insert boasts impressive performance within the industrial and scientific field .Its durability and precision make it a great addition to any cutting tool collection. The only downside would be the higher price point compared to other options on the market. Overall a high-quality product that delivers EXCEPTIONAL results..

Pros
  • Highly precise and accurate
Cons
  • Expensive compared to traditional boring tools

Not at all like the picture (1030-0502 BBN8)

I snagged this on sale for under $9 so I decided to take a chance and buy what looked like a really weird looking boring bar that has the same TCMT inserts as the cheap ones 5.0 kits lathes can use. No, I have a real boring bar that uses TP high-rake inserts. I'd say it's probably worth the regular price as it seems to be 'we'd use it ourselves' in the Chinese high-end class. Definitely not junk! As you can see from the photos what arrived was printed with the code S08R-STFPR2. With that in…

Pros
  • insert TP..-32. use; pitch angle +5; M4x10 screw
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
