Nothing to write

Good for horizontal surfaces in my opinion No idea why they make magnets that aren't strong enough to do what they're supposed to do I personally don't like it very much

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write later

Worth the money if you have access to a milling machine.

Worth the price, I have 2 of these, strong magnet. 3 stars for poor quality control. The first one I ordered I had to mill the top a bit to allow the turn signal to fit and keep it straight. In the second, I had to take a lot more material from above for it to be useful. If you have access to a milling machine in 10 minutes or less you can make it very comparable to the brand name MightyMag for 1/3 the price. I would buy again.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

No 1/4-20 screws best in dial gauges

I took a chance as they are half the price of name brand magnets. The first impression was rather doubtful due to the low weight. However, I will say that they seem to be holding the lathe with sufficient strength. I omitted one star as all the holes on them appear 8-32 and they don't have a 1/4-20 screw to mount on the side for a dial indicator. This can cause the indicator to move at the worst possible moment if the screw is not tightened enough. I could probably drill and trim them down to…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
