I saw a few negative comments but this little sign did exactly what I wanted - it protected my cooker handle panel from grease splatters which is a headache to clean . The shield is very easy to clean and store.

This splatter guard covers an 8-10" pan to prevent splattering of luncheon meats such as sausage, bacon, ham and beef patties. clean and dry. Strong and durable. Add this to your kit.

Handle stays cold and the whole has the look of stainless steel - no rusting after multiple washes in the dishwasher. I wish the attachment of the handle to the rim was a little stronger as I suspect the item will eventually fail.

A friend recommended this to me after I complained about the fried fish I had just made and the fact that I didn't cook as much because I hated cleaning the stove. What a great addition to my kitchen, anything that makes cleaning easier is a plus

First, the handle is as heavy as the circle of the screen, so the balance point is right where the handle meets the ring. This means it tends to be prickly in a large-diameter pan, and even more so in a smaller-diameter pan. Choose a model with a lighter grip. Second, what is advertised as a 9 inch splash screen is actually a 9 13/16 inch device. The screen portion alone is 9 3/8 inches in diameter. Why not point out that it's made in China, 25cm screen.

I bought a splatter guard for 99 cents but it was 13 inches in diameter and made cooking on my small range difficult and awkward (see photo). photo circled in red). attached) So I bit the bullet and spent $9.59 for this 9 inch diameter splatter screen and it is PERFECT. I really like how my small frying pan's handle fits between the handle. This is a well made product and not cheap. In addition, they delivered VERY FAST.

The weld on one of the fasteners on the ring came loose the first time the screen was used. Brought it back to the Target Store as per the insert. They accepted the refund but they only credited me $17.38 while my credit card was charged $26.75. I deny this and await a decision. I really need this gear and I'm willing to get another one for another test; I see others (seven or so) have had the same issue. I hope they can fix it.

I bought two of these and zip tied them to the handles to hold them together as a double screen to further reduce splashes while still allowing for easy breathing. works great! The screen is actually 9 1/4 inches in diameter and the outside diameter is 9 3/4 inches. The strainer is very fine mesh and made entirely of stainless steel which is perfect for what I use it for. The handle is seamlessly welded to the frame and is 1 3/16" wide internally, 1 9/16" wide externally and 7" long. Very good…

This is a pretty decent spatter grate that can be used for frying but has one real downside. The frame and handle are hollow and not sealed. When rinsing in the dishwasher or by hand in the sink, the rinsing water gets into the sieve frame and drips off for a long time after rinsing. When the screen is shaken, the sound of water inside can be heard. I don't want soapy water on food and water and hot oil definitely don't mix.
