Description of 🥓 HIC Bacon Press and Steak Weight: Premium Cast Iron Tool with Wooden Handle for Perfectly Grilled Panini, Burgers, Bacon, and Sausage

HIC’s Cast Iron Bacon Press flattens bacon to prevent it from curling and shrinking so it cooks evenly with more crispy surfaces without messy spatter. Made from cast iron with stay-cool wooden handle; generous 7.75-inch cooking surface fits 8-inch pans perfectly; preheat for faster cooking time. Easy to season before first use; wash and dry thoroughly, lightly coat fry pan and Bacon Press with cooking oil, heat in the pan on low for 20 minutes. Keep steaks, burgers, and pork chops from curling or press out excess fat, press paninis, press out whey when making cheese or thick yoghurt, and more. Cast iron distributes heat evenly; suitable for careful use with non-stick pans; hand wash in warm, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.

This is AN ANIMALS. for grill and BBQ utensils

This is a reliable press. The metalwork is great, the handle is solid and it will do the job of holding bacon or burgers/steaks on the grill/pan/skillet fairly easily. It's also a great decor element if you're into country chic decor. I would buy it again if I wanted another one. The delivery was very fast, the price is quite reasonable, it's a reliable choice. Tip: You shouldn't try this on a non-stick pan as it's cast iron and also has a rough texture. what brings. It will surely damage the…

It rusts quickly but does the job.

I mainly use it for panini and sandwich toast although I don't use it for bacon but it's not the best. It is not easy to clean and the one I received was rusty after 2 uses. It wasn't from the oil but from a few drops of water because it was next to the sink. The next day I noticed orange dots on my abs and it hurt to get them out. I wish it was a little more stable than other presses I've used in the past, but I wanted to try something new. Unfortunately I would go back and buy another but the

Why a Pig?!?!?: Grills & Outdoor Cooking

Love it and hate it! I've been using it for a week or so now. I love it with bacon. It keeps it flat and allows for quick and even cooking. It goes well with my cast iron skillet (photo). I also use it to make hamburgers and other meals. In fact, I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I never thought I would like it so much. But then I'll be clean. It is impossible. The pig should have been placed on top, not below. (Picture) You can't clean, dry or season properly. I decided to throw it…

Nice for decoration or for its intended purpose

WOW, better than I expected. For some reason shriveled bacon bugs me. LOL, this is perfect for bacon strips. Also great for placing on top of hamburgers on the stove. Putting this on your burgers makes it look like burgers stick juicers. I just rotate it from one burger to another. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. My husband thought this was another kitchen decor item because I made the district kitchen. what a great idea! When I clean it, I just leave the metal part in warm, soapy water for a while…
