Hicarer Pendulum Movement Replacement Mechanism Hardware Review

It was easy to install and quiet. I thought it was second hand as it wasn't in the description so I'm glad I kept a used one from my old parts.

I built a line of watches with a beer company logo maybe 10 years ago. First the pendulum stopped and a year later the clock stopped. This new watch works, a good replacement. Just make sure you measure the length of the non-working clock hands. The swingarm really moves and looks great on this new replacement.

The quartz movement of my wonderful pendulum clock no longer works. I bought 2 quartz sets locally that didn't work. I decided to go online and found this device that I was able to easily install. In fact, I thanked God for helping me find it — I check this watch at least 20 times a day and go away without it. If I can install it that easily, anyone can.

My friend bought me a battery powered clock as a gift. It worked great for many years until one day it just stopped working. Since it was a gift from her, I was dying to try to get it working again. I finally found this movement at Revain and thought the price was right so I gave it a try. Well it was the perfect app for this clock and even the pendulum works amazingly well.

Our watch was difficult to disassemble to install but after taking it apart we were able to provide a replacement. It took some time. It works well. It does not come with pedulum. I had one of the original kits but it didn't fit this one. My husband had to sand down the sides of the part where it hangs to get it to fit. We also had to use double-sided tape to hold the clock mechanism in place. It's working great now and I'm so happy to have a working cock again!

My old wall clock fell and the clock's pendulum mechanism broke. I had a watch for 21 years. I was about to replace it and took the risk of buying a Hicarer kit as it was cheap. It was very easy to install, but the hands he walked with were too small. I used the hands of an old clock but I had to make some small adjustments to fit the new movement. This was the hardest part as it needs to fit snugly against the shaft to keep up with the times. The old pendulum fitted the new mechanism perfectly

Our clock stopped working and I was on the verge of buying a 'direct replacement' for the model that was in the clock. This model would cost $80 after shipping. This model has a horn, but no horn was needed. I picked up a flyer for this one because of the price. After a week it shows the perfect time and the pendulum works well too. Hope the battery lasts. I was a little apprehensive about going from a model that used 2 C batteries to a model that only required one AA battery. Time will tell…
