great filters! suitable for filters

excellent filters . Exactly the same filter is made by K&N. Both are made by the same people, just different names on them!

Pros
  • inspires confidence
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Perfect for 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 DCA

This is my oil filter for 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 DCA. I've never had a problem finding them at Revain at a reasonable price and quality has never been an issue.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good filter in spare parts

Good filter. There is no nut at the end to tighten, but that doesn't matter. Good quality and the end has been sealed to prevent dust etc from being stored before use. Next I will try the Racing Filter 201RC for more flow.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Does what it should.

I have a 2001 zx7r. I use it as my daily commuter (25 miles round trip) year round. I've been using this filter for about six months, about 3-4 of those. The bike works great. There were no problems. I still buy this filter.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Damaged

Best value for money in filters

I have been using HiFlo filters on my Yamaha sx230 jetski for several seasons. They are cheaper than Yamaha OEM and K&N, fit perfectly and have quality construction. Also, they are not rusted as is common with genuine Yamaha OEM filters.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Having problems

Better quality than K&N and half the price

I use this filter on my R6 and it works great. You can see the difference when you change the oil. K&n's are bullshit for oil filters, they're like a frame to be honest. I stopped using K&N's when I heard they crackle when they get too hot. Hiflo is the best quality at half the price.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Negative present

Misleading List / False Advertising!

As you can see from the attached screenshot, the seller uploaded a picture of 3 oil filters for this listing but they only ship 1 oil filter. This is misleading and should be considered false advertising. After contacting the seller, he does not want to solve the problem. I strongly recommend buying the cheaper option and staying away from this fraudulent seller!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Revainrating 1 out of 5

useless, badly worn.

Most likely not a manufacturer fault but I received this filter with a noticeable dent (almost pierced through) on one side approximately 1.5cm x 1cm which appears to have been caused by something sharp as the fairing was removed. unfortunately it is unusable at the moment, don't risk it, these filters can withstand quite a lot of pressure and a dent, especially one like this, will cause a weak point in the metal housing. Other than that, great filters for the price when intact.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

HiFlo Filter = Win. (5*)

Don't like it? lol no I have been using Hilo filters for many years and they have never let me down. Personally, I've never had a problem with it on my 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400ABS. I will continue to use them as long as they continue to produce a quality filter. And at this price you can't beat them. It's all preference, but it's definitely mine. I change the oil every 2000 miles with a Motul 7100 10W-40 along with a new HiFlo filter (HF303) and have never had a single problem with it.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
