DEAD in a few months, Short battery life, only charges to 80%

After installation, my HP ProBook 850 G4 would only show it was charged to 80%. Leaving it plugged in for hours never got it charged above 80%. Even fully charged the battery never lasts more than 45 minutes or so.UPDATE: 5 months after purchase, the battery is completely dead. The laptop shuts off immediately after pulling the power cord out.COMPLETE GARBAGE!

I purchased this battery in October of 2019 and now the battery only last 30 minutes on a full charge - it was fine for the first 9 months - but now is completely unreliable to work on

good battery best in my review

I got this battery few weeks ago and I installed in same day. After I test few days, the battery still works fine but the battery life is only acceptable. Still a good product.

Good price, and warranty helped

The battery died after a month or two, but I was able to get a free replacement from the seller very quickly (they rush-shipped it!) due to the 6 month warranty, with no hassle at all, and no extra cost to me. Ni problems with second battery. Great value for the price

Well worth the investment.

A little bit of time to replace but not hard. Nothing to do with the battery but the laptop design. When the laptop is so thin you need a screwdriver rather than just a few clicks to replace the battery.Remove the cover, a hand full of very small batteries, pop the connector and reverse with the new battery. Charge it up and laptop last a long time off charger.Well worth the cost and time to replace, and not very complicated.

my last battery was expanding so large it snapped my laptop frame open in front. This slid in perfect, was already half full and so far is working perfectly.

Quit whining about the screws!

This battery worked perfect in my HP Elitebook 850 G3. My battery was dead and would not work at all. I went to order the HP OEM part from the HP Parts Store but they have been out of stock for a while AND it was about a $100 battery.I decided to give this one a try since it was only $30. The battery works fine and came with a 75% capacity charge for it's first cycle. Correct Fit, seems to hold charge

The product shipped as expected, but the battery was missing both screws. Luckily I was able to get the screws off of the bad battery and install on this replacement. Seems to hold charge. Make sure to read all details of the product, because the seller does state in one of their diagrams that screws are NOT included

No Mounting Screws Provided

The BatteryMon CS03XL battery does not include the proprietary screws required to affix the battery to the laptop chassis. Chatting with amazon.com about this problem did not help much. Their suggestion is to go to a hardware store to get the part. Since when do hardware stores carry the necessary screws to assemble a laptop? I haven’t seen that in the US. Purchased a used laptop without a battery, and now I’ve got a battery, but no way to affix it to the laptop. Duct tape perhaps?

Only lasted a few months.

Battery seemed to do very well for 4 months. In month 5 it slowly stopped holding its charge and is now dead. That's my feedback!

Works nice at a great price!

For the HP laptop back up and going and it seems to hold a charge pretty good. I did make sure to charge it all the way up then discharge it completely as the instructions indicated.

Lasted only 8 months

Installed in an Elitebook 840 G3 14" laptop. The battery worked great for the first 6 months and then it started to degrade quickly and now the laptop needs to be constantly plugged in. If I disconnect the charger the laptop dies immediately. I would change this to 5 stars if the seller sent another battery.

So far, so good best in my review

It fit perfectly for a replacement battery but I've only been using it a few weeks. Will it last 6 months? A year? Not sure, but it was inexpensive, fast to get here and looked safer than the bulging battery that was in my son's laptop. I'll update my review when it either stops holding a charge or becomes unsafe, or if we get a new laptop for him (likely)

No Gains to Battery Life with New OEM Battery

I have the HP Elitebook 745 G3. The original battery lasts longer on a full charge then this OEM. The OEM I am lucky to get 90 minutes using it.I went through the steps to discharge and charge based on what little info is provided. No changes to performance.I will be returning the battery.

Blew up like a balloon at 14 months!

I bought this battery in Feb 2021 on Revain. After just over a year of use, here it is all swole. This laptop was always kept indoors and wasn't exposed to any extreme temps.

Seems to work fine. But no retention screws

Went riding the laptop and is working fine the only thing is there is no retention screws. So sometimes it doesn't connect with the power connectors in the laptop. I took it apart and used some tape to secure the battery. Never had any problems since

Great Replacement For HP EliteBook 745 G3

Great fitment for my HP EliteBook 745 G3. Install was a breeze. Only downside is the battery did not come with the two retaining screws. The ones from the original battery can be easily removed and installed on the new battery.
