Great unit, lot's of fun.

I'm not a turntable expert, but I'm really digging this. I set up the weight in accordance with the instructions and I haven't had a skip yet. It's doing a great job on some old records I've bought. The only thing I'd say is that the sound isn't coming through my AVR with a whole lot of "punch" or clarity. I'm not sure if this is the cartridge, the fact I'm using the line-out instead of a phono amp, or just that I haven't done enough to EQ it. No mater, I've got streaming services for…

Pros
  • The remote does not have a power switch/button. Major mistake.
Cons
  • Limited sound adjustment options

Good Unit to record cassettes and vinyl.

Purchased this unit specifically to record cassette tapes and as a backup to my Phillips CD recorder. Have been quite pleased with the results Sound is OK but I did not purchase it for that purpose.

Pros
  • This item was delivered right on time as promised by the supplier they were great
Cons
  • Junk, CD player crapped out after 1st year of use

Just what I was looking for and works as advertised

I have numerous cassette tapes and LPs that I wanted to save on CD. The Teac recorder has numerous features that I probably won't use, but it is straightforward to record my tapes and records to CDs. I previously had a tape player and software so that I could create digital files of my cassette tapes on my computer. The Teac recorder is easier to use plus it allows me to digitize my records. It has good quality sound if you only want to play a tape, LP, or CD. I hadn't heard my LPs in a long…

Pros
  • The matte black design of this turntable adds a classy touch to any room. Its sleek aesthetic complements modern home decor and can be easily incorporated into your existing entertainment system. With the Teac TN-300SE-MB, you not only get an exceptional sound experience but also a stunning visual appeal
Cons
  • Limited use in modern DJ setups

Worth the money. - my new review

Love this machine! I have converted almost 20 cassettes already in the 2 months I've had this machine and had a lot of fun with it!

Pros
  • LOVE THIS ITEM , NICE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT.
Cons
  • Requires careful handling of vinyl records

Exactly what I wanted.

I have several old "King Biscuit" concert cassettes recorded off the radio years ago, and many old albums that are not available on cd. I wanted a way to burn them on to a disc to listen to in my pickup and this unit is perfect. I'm not very tech savvy and this unit is just my speed.

Pros
  • I`m having problems figuring how to separate the tracks. I know it`s something I`m not getting
Cons
  • Unable to skip tracks or fast forward/rewind easily

First of all we have had this machine for about 3 years or more and I absolutely think it's one of the best decisions we ever made with this purchase. So far I have transferred about 1500 songs from old cassettes (does a beautiful job) to CDs so I could download to the computer. I'm am working on our record collection now.At this time, 1/10/20, I've transferred about 10 - 15 albums, the latest of which was the Byrds. HA! To me it does a flawless job. I believe there is a way to hook this…

Pros
  • So so
Cons
  • Parts may become obsolete over time

Options + more - my new review

Purchased for father in law. This had all the options he wanted + some. He says it works good & was easy to operate. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • ‎Matte Black
Cons
  • Requires a dedicated listening space

finally transferring all my old cassettes and LPs

I have boxes of old cassettes of irreplaceable personal recordings that I've been wanting to digitize. Easy to use, although there are a lot of steps, so I just wrote out a cheat sheet to keep by the unit. After 2 or 3 times, I don't need it. The tape speed is a tad fast, but not anything I can't live with. All cassette players are different. The auto track feature works about 80% but I'm satisfied with it. I LOVE being able to play my LPs. I probably won't digitize many of them since most have

Pros
  • Easy to use.
Cons
  • Can be affected by temperature and humidity changes

Does it all! - my new review

This music machine plays every kind of music we've collected over the last 50 years and plays it beautifully. David added a pair of Klipsch speakers to enhance the sound, but it sounds good on its own also. We've set it up in our bedroom, so it would be nice to turn it off with a remote from bed, but no such option. That's my only complaint.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Potential for damage to vinyl records during playback

It does what I wanted it to do.

What can I say about the Teac LP-R660USB? I bought it because I wanted a way to digitize to CD items from my music library - specifically old, out-of-print LP albums and cassettes I'd collected over the years. I'd previously done this using a TASCAM CD-RW4U (also a Teac product) but which I had finally discarded when the unit literally stopped functioning. Now maybe the CD-RW4U was supposed to be a more precise CD rewritable recorder, but it did not include a turntable or a cassette deck, which

Pros
  • The Teac TN-300SE-MB Analog Turntable is crafted with high-grade components ensuring exceptional sound output. Its rigid wooden cabinet and aluminum die-cast platter prevent any unnecessary vibration and keep the sound distortion-free. You can finally enjoy your vinyl collection with unparalleled clarity and depth
Cons
  • Requires proper storage of vinyl records to prevent damage

Best value turntable with pretty good specs.

TEAC offers a range of turntables. This one sneaks in under the radar with the best value. Ignore the "SE", this is the same as the TN-300 apart from the available colors (no gloss options)It comes with a decent "DJ" cartridge, the AT95E, which is definitely better than the no-name one in the TN-200 or 100. It's still fine for regularrock or classical albums. It is a different color cartridge to the AT95E available separately on ebay (https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-At95e-P…

Pros
  • The record and tape player are fantastic. The built-in speakers are just OK.No complaints.
Cons
  • Not portable

Easy To Use And Good Value For The Money

First off, this is my second time owning one of these although my last one was an LP-R550 USB and this one is an LP-R660 USB. Why the first one didn't last was my fault, you may want to read through the manual before replacing the needle and make sure the needle you use is rated for this model. I enjoy converting vinyl to digital so I tried some different things after my last Teac model and after trying to save some money with set ups that weren't as good or simply just didn't work I decided to

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use, Tone arm lifting handle could be a little longer for easy lifting.
Cons
  • Only plays vinyl records
