🚗 Heavy-Duty Expandable Car Clothes Hanger Bar with High Road Review

Product quality appears to be good, but there is a serious design flaw in the calculation of the hook spacing that secures the hook to the pole through the end cap. We didn't discover this until we loaded the bar with dry-cleaned clothes - the plug/hook came loose during the ride and scratched the skin. See attached photos

Purchased for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. No fit issues. I'm moving to a new house 1000 miles away and we're doing it without a mover. I've loaded half my closet (okay, maybe a quarter, I have to do a few trips) with heavy winter coats, suits, and whatnot. Did 1000 km in two days and not a single problem. Highly recommended.

This shelf is AMAZING! Yes, it costs more than others, but it has metal hooks instead of plastic hooks. I haven't used it on clothes, which was never my intention. My girlfriend and I are going to a huge herb festival with lots of plants, flowers and other things. We used it exclusively for our hanging baskets so we have more room in the car for our other goodies! That's great! Hands down one of the best purchases for me (along with our folding cart for all our goodies) :)

I really like this - the most durable I've found so far - BUT I couldn't use it for two weeks because it had an unpleasant plastic smell Product . In general, the thing is good, I recommend. The downsides are that there is no way to lock the bar in the open/adjustable position to the desired length. When in use, it can continue to expand and contract. If you block its position, the hooks will not align, allowing it to be hung. The second complication is that the hooks end up being strong, but they don't hold their position. They will flop if you spin the bar. Great! Fits almost my entire wardrobe for a long-distance move. I especially like the metal hooks on this one (other brands had plastic hooks). Installed as a curtain rod in my Toyota Sienna, attached to the handles above the front doors.
