**Update** returned item and purchased a Scan Disk brand from Best Buy and it worked right after I formatted it in the dashcam. Half the price and worked right out of the box. I did read on the S1 product page that the Vantrue Seller recommended a Samsung EVO Micro SD Memory Card for its dashcam. I can’t comment on that since I got a different brand and it worked out perfectly with no issues.***1/11/23 I purchased a Vantrue S1 dashcam and had it installed then bought the Vantrue 512gb micro sd.

I had it running in my truck for a month. The camera quality seems good but it filmed my face not the traffic. So I tried resetting the settings and did a format. It hasn't recorded anything so far. I tried putting the app on my phone and a windows and mac computer , but it will not load. I've tried wifi and cables and etc, but nothing will load that app for android, windows or mac. It works perfectly for my Vantrue N4 it's just a little bit pricey compared to other options. Just scared to try anything else as it says it doesn't really work with others. Overall great card though!

At first it didn’t work for my Vantrue N2 Pro. I had to look up and go to the website and found out I had to upgrade the firmware in order to use 256gb. They recommend putting it on a 8-64gb and I downloaded it and dragged it onto the 256gb. Hooked it up to my Vantrue N2 pro and it updated and was able to use the 256gb micro as card.

Very fragile, but works great if your not too rough getting it out of the package or putting it in your item. Thanks for attention!

I don't know for sure if the problem is the chip or the Vantrue N 4 3 channel. View video on camera display and all appears okay. Moved the microSDXC to my laptop to to view video and this is the results, video for (A) front view video will go black several times within the 3min length , (B) cabin view is okay and (C) rear view is the same as the front view. I get the same results with both of my laptops.

I liked everything. I bought this due to a hit and run driver. They side swiped my car then left the scene.Now I can record everything that happens.

I like that it works right out of the package without any formatting needed. With 256gb of storage space I don't have to worry about rewritten over videos as often as when I was using a 64gb card in my VanTrue N2 Pro Dashcam.

Go with their sd cards that are compatible with their dashcams. Save the headache by going with what they recommend over different micro sd card. I got this for my N2S and the packaging is neat and it came quickly. Definitely recommend getting the bigger sizes.

I'm not a techy, but seems to be doing great. I was concerned because being in the sun the car heats up , I was concerned of distortion in video , but no issues as of yet .

I use this for my 4k dash cam. I can record for about 4 days without running out of room. Great size too. The card may have compatibility issues with certain brands of devices.

Received this as a replacement due to the one I initially purchased not working. Contacted the seller, and they quickly sent a replacement.

Cameras were good. But I could not load anything to my laptop or TV and could not get help from Vantrue. I could not get on to Vantrue's web site. Everytime I opened up an account they would assign me another password because it tell me my name and password was already taken. (7 times). Also kept getting an error Codexc which kept me from loading movies & photos to laptop and TV. Help was terrible from Vantrue. Sent back for complete REFUND. Never again.

Don't mess around pinching pennies. Get the card the manufacturer designed specifically for the dashcam. I feel confident in purchasing Vantrue products. I have tested the card in my computer and it recognized. If you pay attention to the "other brands" their warranties don't cover use in dashcams and I am betting your dashcam won't be as forgiving either. So, it does what it says. It holds about a week of video at full HD but it is way overpriced comparatively. Unfortunately, the dash cam "requires" this brand. Sure others would have worked too but didn't want to have a glitch if needed.

Vantrue claims that you cannot use Sandisk card. This card is a rebranded, defective, Sandisk card "formatted" by Vantrue. Sandisk cards work fine. This "Vantrue" card does not work at all. Just buy a trusted brand of SD card, don't waste your money here.

One look into the different technologies of Micro SD cards and you can be left scratching your head and emptying your wallet. Cheaper is most certainly not better, there is a lot more to all this.So the most straightforward answer for the Vantrue N4 Dashcam was to simply buy the Micro SD they have tested themselves.And frankly, I'm happy with the results because Dashcom Micro SD cards work harder than just about any other form of recording.Great product and not too bad a price either

With this much space for my dashcam to record at such a high rate of quality, this is awesome.Best thing was that I didn’t have to format it before use. Just put it in the dashcam and it does all of the work.Comes with adapter and I use it to view the videos from my laptop.
