This is the second product I have purchased. They worked great for regrooving stripped screw holes in a chainsaw and motorcycle engine. They were cheap and arrived on time

It may not be brand name but for the DIY enthusiast on a very limited budget it worked! Thank you for providing. I had to drill a hole in the back of the Toyota Tundra.

Ideal for repairing the front timing chain cover (aluminium) on a 3.8 liter Jeep V6 where the water pump bolts always break! You'd think FCA would use stainless steel screws in moisture prone areas!

I didn't think it was that good because it's half the price of Helicoil and has bad reviews. To my surprise, they are well preserved in aluminum and steel. The drill and tap are notoriously lower quality than what comes with the spiral wire. I end up using my own better quality drill bit and taking my time when cutting the hole.

I've used the helix tools many times and everything was going great until I went to install the helix, as soon as I inserted it and tried to remove the installation tool the ears were bent and stayed stuck in there and broke off in the hole trying to get the tool out completely destroying the part I was trying to fix and I now have to buy a brand new one! I will never buy from these people again!

I have one of the M8 kits and it worked fine but this M6 kit failed miserably. The spool offered too much resistance during insertion, causing the insertion tool to break in the hole. So I had to drill out the broken tool and buy a quality Helicoil brand thread repair kit locally. Sure, it cost twice as much, but it worked great. It's useless if it doesn't work properly and requires extra work and expense. I will never buy these sets again. I think I got lucky with the first one.
