    Perfect for hot shoe

dot sights for cameras ranging from $130-$150 so I decided to build my own using this hard to find adapter. The total investment amount is 45 USD. Only downside was the package arrived in just over two weeks from a distant country via DHL World Shipping but still a good buy if you have a little patience.

    Great design, more options needed

I didn't like that it slides both forward and backward from the attachment point. I loosened the screw and reinstalled it on one end to allow for length. Now it works fine but I wish there was a built in option for the screw on both ends (more reinforcement for the screw). By moving the mount at one end, the camera can be used with a scope or viewfinder.

Too loose, not worth the money

Shoes don't fit properly in hot shoe. Excessive play remains even after tightening. My collimator optics lose "zero" and have to be constantly readjusted. I wanted to send it back and they said I would have to pay the return postage. It is not worth returning and the item is not worth the money. DO NOT BUY. Works but hangs in hot shoe

Purchased to mount a reflex sight on a Nikon camera for astrophotography. It works, but the hot shoe mount doesn't quite fit. It's loose enough that even with the locking ring tightened, it doesn't take a huge hit to rotate the mount and break the alignment. In addition, the guide is wider than the "standard" finder guide on the telescope. . I had to turn the rail clamps upside down on the Celestron 51630 Star Pointer Telescope Finderscope I bought for this. Nevertheless, it hardly slips on the

    Works great with some limitations.

Great quality and works great; under the condition! With a large knurled nut it is quite difficult to fix the mount in the camera shoe. Because of the game, you can use the device itself as a screwdriver handle. It's tricky and when it's very tight it's hard to remove, but with care it can be done. To mount, insert the device base into the camera shoe and tighten the knurled nut by pulling it counterclockwise on the bracket. Now tighten the nut firmly and rotate the bracket counterclockwise…

Fits VERY tight but solved my problem

I recently bought a laser sight off eBay to attach to my DSLR to help aim the camera for astrophotography. Most of the time I'm aiming for objects that are too far away and/or too dark to see with the naked eye or through a camera, so a laser is a great option as I can just aim the laser beam up at the sky with the stars . and constellations I can see much more clearly just by looking at the sky than through a viewfinder. I had the right part to attach the laser to my camera but I needed the…
