This is a beautiful jug. I liked how easy it was to clean. The lid also closes well. However, he is too fragile. The glass is very thin. I was concerned when I started using it a few months ago. The top holds well and has two holes: one as a strainer (for tea leaves) and a regular round hole for pouring juice or tea from tea bags. The glass is light but still feels solid, with a very nice handle that is sturdy despite looking quite flimsy. Absolutely beautiful pitchers! They are light weight and yes they are glass, smack them on anything and I'm sure they will break or shatter so be careful! It gets two stars because it's as pretty as the picture, the spout pours well with minimal dripping (ONLY with the cap off) and the handle is nicely shaped and easy to hold and pour. But the two reasons I chose it, the airtight lid and the advertised 2 liter size, didn't work. The jug comfortably holds about 7 cups of liquid, 56 oz.
