This WILL throw a line on the ground. Very bright. You may need an extra battery for all-day use.

Photo of a soda can on a foot of a tile for scale. I like that it uses a rechargeable battery, but it can be replaced if it fails. It has a proprietary cable and I would prefer some sort of USB. It's bright enough to see outside in the bright New Mexico sunlight. It WILL leave a line on the floor. I have another one that doesn't. Useful tool for measuring and marking tools

Pros: Self-leveling function seems accurate. see lines at 50ft indoors (haven't tried using it outdoors). Rechargeable. Comes with power adapter and cables. I've been using it for several hours and still haven't had to charge the battery. Difficult. I can see this is good as it keeps it in the right position. The tote bag is very well filled. Standard mount so I can use one of the camera tripods. Cons: The wall mount is useless. The magnets are weak and the mount itself barely holds, there's no

Excellent laser level. Bad base and weirdly big body

This laser in itself is very good and very useful. I've just spent the last few weekends replacing all of the stair railings and balusters in my house and this tool has proven incredibly handy for aligning everything and marking baluster holes on stair treads and the underside of handrails. The ability to project a dual vertical and a horizontal 360-degree laser line around a room is more than I'll likely ever need, but it's nice to have the extras.
