3 of 3 controls and indicators so far

I use 3 of these in my telescope remote: 2 as dew heater controls and 1 to power the peltier cooler for the cameras. All three are working great after six months. Note that the three pins on the white connector connect directly to the potentiometer. This gives you the ability to read the current position of the potentiometer into an A/D circuit (e.g. Arduino). In one of mine I cut the trace between the center pin of the potentiometer and the onboard chip, connected the chip to the center pin of

Works well with a low power DC pump (19W)

I use this to control the speed of a cheap BLDC pump for a liquid cooled PC (water cooling loop). The pump is rated at 19 watts, which is too much for a typical cooling circuit. That's fine as long as you can control the speed. That's why I bought this PWM controller. It worked right out of the box and easily controls the pump with excellent resolution. I can easily start and hold the pump at about half speed. I can also speed it up if I feel the need, for example adding more cooling blocks and

Great 12v controller for the money

The one I got was a moderately simple circuit based on a 555 timer using a TO220 RU7088R 6mฮฉ N-channel FET with a SBR40100 flyback diode " TO220 driving. Using a car radiator fan rated at 11.5A @ 13V, the device showed a temperature rise of about 14ยฐC on the PCB and 9ยฐC on the FET heatsink after about 20 minutes Operating at 90% duty cycle as measured with a thermal imaging camera Somewhat surprisingly, the cheap, no-name 7812 voltage regulator was one of the hottest components on the boardโ€ฆ
