I use this to control the speed of a cheap BLDC pump for a liquid cooled PC (water cooling loop). The pump is rated at 19 watts, which is too much for a typical cooling circuit. That's fine as long as you can control the speed. That's why I bought this PWM controller. It worked right out of the box and easily controls the pump with excellent resolution. I can easily start and hold the pump at about half speed. I can also speed it up if I feel the need, for example adding more cooling blocks and heatsinks. With 10-19W power, this PWM controller runs cool and quiet. I don't hear any electrical noise either. Based on its design and the size of the heatsinks I would say that 100-150 watts continuous would be the max for this controller if you want durability.
