Great cheap little module Computer components

This is my first time experimenting with the esp8266 module. I ordered various esp8266-12E modules from HiLetgo, it took a month and a half to get to my doorstep from China, but I live in Colombia, the parts have arrived. In perfect condition and hermetically sealed in an anti-static bag, all modules worked. The only thing I had to figure out was how to flash them. In fact, it's not that hard to figure out that Linux has built-in support for the UART (Ubuntu) USB serial bridge controller…

A few steps to set up this board

I finally got this board right. This may seem like many steps, but most of them are not difficult or time consuming. It takes 1 to 7 seconds to connect to my home WiFi network. Once connected to WiFi, it connects to my MQTT broker in less than 2 seconds. When I publish MQTT messages to my broker, there is no noticeable delay before this board responds. I connected it to the BMP280 sensor and checked the operation of the I2C pins. I tested it with a servo using the built in sample program…

My new board instead of Arduino (built in wifi, wireless code updates)

These things are amazing. I currently use 3 of these with a small 64x128 OLED display and a DHT22 sensor in various places around the house. All of this is built using the Ardunio IDE. I also added some NTP code I found online and now every board syncs its clock with NTP so it's almost like having an RTC built in (as long as you have an internet connection, at least when you turn on the power or restart). Device). One of the coolest features is the ability to use the ArduinOTA package, so now I

Great board for the price!

I have over 100 different microcontrollers that I use and have tried on various projects. There's never a one-size-fits-all solution, but this board has one big advantage - the price. If you're familiar with the variety of boards, you probably know that the more features you want, the higher the price. Many of the boards I've used, with built-in Wi-Fi, USB programming, and lots of ports, can cost upwards of $20. From the start, this board supports multiple ways to program it. The two most…
