Description of 🌡️ HiLetgo 2pcs W1209 12V DC Digital Temperature Controller Board Micro Digital Thermostat -50-110°C Electronic Temp Control Module Switch with 10A Relay and Waterproof

100% complete machine patch, wave soldering, stable performance, good consistency. Embedded CPU chip (MCU), more intelligent, lower power consumption. Automatic power set memory (MCU built-in EEPROM memory unit). Control accuracy of 0.1 degrees Celsius. Have been tested for stability, consistency and reliability. Tips: - long press set to get menu, starts at P0 - press +/- to get next P-parameter - press set to choose that parameter - press +/- to select the value you want for that parameter - press set to accept it - long press +/- = reset to default - power-out does reset to default - default temp set is 34.5C

Works fine, relay clicks loudly

I used this and a 110VAC to 12VDC converter to replace a broken dorm room fridge thermostat. I use the beer fridge in the bedroom. The accuracy seems good compared to a non-contact infrared thermometer. I set it to 2.0°C (there is no °F setting) but the displayed temperature is around 4°C when I quickly open the fridge to check; A little irritation. The real annoyance is how LOUD the relay clicks! The entire unit is inside the fridge, not attached to a hard surface, and sounds like an electric…

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Nothing

The only thing that could have improved these devices would be to include basic instructions in the box. Fortunately, you can find connection instructions and function descriptions on the Internet. Note. I've found some instructions that suggest that the load's positive and negative wires should be connected to K0 and K1, respectively. That's wrong - at least for the device I connected. K0 is positive with respect to the load; K1 plus from the power supply; +12V plus from the power pack; GRND…

Pros
  • control accuracy 0.1 degrees Celsius. Have been tested for stability, consistency and reliability.
Cons
  • No power

So far, so good. I really wish they came with instructions! But I figured out the settings P0-P6. P0 - Toggle between turning the relay on when the temperature is above the set threshold or turning on when it is set below the threshold. (C and H indicate that the relay will open when cold or hot. P1 is the hysteresis setting. If this setting is 2 (C) and you have configured the device to turn on at low temperatures when the temperature reaches 30° C reached or less, the relay will turn on when…

Pros
  • Auto power-on memory (built-in EEPROM MCU).
Cons
  • Unsure

Cheap Efficient No Instructions

I bought this product for a small side project. I wanted to add a 12 volt fan to cool the charging transformer in the backup battery when charging from the grid, but I didn't want the fan running 24/7. The UPS no longer charges small 7Ah 12V batteries, instead charging two 90Ah 12V batteries. Installing the unit in the UPS cabinet was fairly easy, but wiring and setup was another challenge, as this product is delivered without documentation. Note that this device only works in degrees Celsius…

Pros
  • Embedded Processor (MCU), smarter, less power consumption.
