Better than the DHT series.

I think this is a much better solution than DHT sensors. It seems more accurate and works on I2C. I printed myself a plastic sleeve and it read for a couple of weeks with no problems. It's also incredibly easy to program.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Useless features

HiLetgo HTU21D temperature and humidity sensor

Compact, accurate and better than the one I replaced. Was used to repair a 5-in-1 weather station with a defective sensor and the manufacturer does not offer a replacement for my model. The HiLetgo HTU21D worked flawlessly and provided more accurate readings than the failed part. Ideal for DIY projects or applicable weather station repairs.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Great product at a great price!

Easy to solder. Easy setup. If you want to upgrade your DHT11/DHT22 modules (because you need some ports back) you should choose one of them. You can see a screenshot of my NodeMCU with OLED display showing temperature and humidity. Pro Tip: Use the SparkFun HTU21 library. I2C address 0x40. Check it with an I2C scanner before uploading the code.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Temperature and humidity sensor on ONE SMALL board!

The HiLetgo HTU21D temperature and humidity sensor is a great thing. It's very small - runs on 3.3V (don't use 5V) and is very accurate. I've attached an image showing how I connected it to my NodeMCU and output the readings to the serial port. I'm amazed at how small this thing is. Now I can add temperature and humidity readings to all my I2C projects! Two thumbs up!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad

Easy setup, amazingly accurate, great price!

HiLetgo has great sensors and this is one of them. This tiny module was extremely easy to plug in and get started. If you want a quick sketch example, there is an HTU21D library that will output humidity and temperature readings to the serial monitor every few seconds. Just search for "HTU21D" in the Arduino libraries collection. Considering the price and size of this nifty little module, it will likely be my go-to tool for measuring temperature and humidity from now on.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

GREAT BLOCK! - Test, measure and verify

This was an almost exact replacement for my Acurite 5 in 1 Pro temperature and humidity sensing PCB. Acurite will NOT offer a replacement for my model to address their design issues. They "offer" me to just spend about $100 and buy a NEW device!? WHAT?! This board has the EXACT SAME chip that Acurite uses! I disassembled the Acurite 5 in 1 Pro, made a few repairs and it works GREAT! , Eats batteries"). This is a great temperature/humidity sensor board!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
