OMG, this is such a wonderful invention! :)

Used this to hang a heavy umber round mirror behind a sofa; and they worked great when holding a heavy mirror (especially on brick since I have a brick wall inside). And so easy to screw into the wall, just make sure you are using them on concrete/brick to pre-drill the hole before screwing them in.

Pros
  • Great for hanging pictures and mirrors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works with plaster

Easy to use - I use this in combination with three nail picture hooks to hold a large mirror. Instead of using three nails, I screwed a screw into the hole in the middle of the hook. He's securely holding a 20 pound mirror in plaster. Before screwing, I drilled a pilot hole with the thinnest bit.

Pros
  • Tip Lighter work like brick, block and concrete will require a 3/16" guide

The best method for hanging pictures

Best for hanging wire frames from the back. Can be placed almost anywhere on the wall and holds a good amount of weight. However, you will have trouble using them on frames with sawtooth rear suspension. And if the frame wire is too long, you'll see the tip of the hook above the frame where the shiny brass finish really stands out.

Pros
  • Holds up to 50 pounds
Cons
  • High price
