📏 Hillman 4277 Overall Dimension Diameter Review

I have bought them a few times. I use them to protect my saltwater oyster cage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The eyebolt has held up well so far, especially since it's installed in dock pilings in a saltwater environment. They worked exactly as I expected. No rust and keeps cells in place.

I use them to hang a reinforced tarp around my back porch to keep snow out in the winter. They easily screw into a 1/8" pilot hole in soft wood, take up little space, and each will likely support 40+ pounds, allowing eight of them to easily handle a heavy tarp in high winds. They appear to be well made and should last for decades.

Eye Bolts are good for what they are. They are well made and very durable. My problem is that they appear much larger than they actually are. I would recommend everyone to READ the specs and eye bolt size. I was careless and injured myself as a result. I will continue to use them for other projects. It's good to have them on hand.
