I can bend them with my bare hands

I didn't expect them to be so soft - I can actually bend them with my fingers - without the help of a tool . They break under significant pressure trying to screw them into solid wood, even with a pilot hole.

Pros
  • Wood screws also taper along the threaded part Optimizing the holding power of screws in wood
Cons
  • disappears

Quality control not good

I bought 6 boxes of 20. or only 120 screws, but 2 out of 120 turned out to be defective. The right screw is the correct screw. If the seller fixes the problem, I'll be happy to correct my review. Couldn't contact the seller directly...

They're not overly strong or tough, but definitely strong enough for cabinet mounting or trimming work (if you drill pilot holes before attempting to install them). I used them to fix a Victorian wardrobe that…

Pros
  • Pre-drilling required

  • Out of style
