Exactly as described

This is exactly what they say. If you put them on a gas block, they will be too long. I simply cut something off with a small cut-off wheel and blued both sides after installation. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There is nothing here

Not for the Armalite 15 weapon system.

Wrong size for your Armalite. Too long and needs to be shortened. Also, use anti-seize when installing them or you'll never get them out again without piercing them. They were installed on an unfired gun over the course of a day before realizing I needed to remove them and make a modification - during that time due to barrel/pins/sight base material differences they were installed and actually "welded" . .

Pros
  • Excellent overall specifications
Cons
  • Secret

These are the right ones for your AR.

This is the correct diameter you need for your sighted gas block. You'll need to trim the end off a bit as they're a bit longer (1/4" IIRC). You should always use new pins when removing the front sight block. It's much better to have a dozen for $10 than 2 for 7 $, how other sellers calculate "Taper Pins AR".

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Poor quality good for pens

So I had to return the first order because I literally received an empty box (yes I had to return an empty box to get my money back). The next order came with all the pins in the package, but at least the pins were there. The problem was that the pins were crap. Standard Ruger AR pins have a nice smooth 1° taper, these pins technically had a taper but were a wavy, jagged, inconsistent blend from end to end. Not sure if they can be used in a specific application.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

I had to remove an old Marlin model 80 gun barrel, the barrel pinches and snaps. The old pin was useless so I bought a 2/0 reamer and a pack of these pins. It's almost impossible to line up the old pinholes when the barrel is reinserted. I could approximate it, but not exactly. I open up the pin hole a bit with a reamer and insert one of those pins. I had to cut the pin because it was longer than I needed but they worked great. If you need to remove a Marlin Model 80 rifle, use these pins. Note

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
