Hillman Plug Review

Absolute rubbish. Advertised as a 3/4" male with 3/8" to 1" offset. Used it for a 7/8 hole and when I tried to fix it the plastic handle fell off. Totally useless. Don't waste yours either time nor your money.

Pros
  • Engine Parts
Cons
  • Zero

I'm not sure what it's actually for

It's so soft that when you put it on it comes loose and basically falls apart. It might work in a residential well, but as a cork for a boat, you're instantly at the bottom of the lake. Returned.

Pros
  • Engines and engine parts
Cons
  • Very expensive

They float but break easily.

A swimmer, but that's all they have. They're too easy to break in use, and while they cost $3 a piece straight from the Walk-Winn website, they can also be called DISPOSABLE fountain/boat plugs.

Pros
  • Automobile
Cons
  • Almost never

Bought over a year ago but only now trying to use it. . . and it's useless. The gasket is too soft and flimsy and ripped immediately upon insertion and eventually ruptured upon removal. The force required to "round off" the midsection is too great for this design, causing the arms to slip off the side pins. Great idea, but very poorly implemented due to unsuitable materials and sloppy design.

Pros
  • Oil drain plug
Cons
  • Clarity
