They didn't work!

I bought these tires to fit my 2015 F-150 winter tire set. Now it's getting colder and snow is announced. I changed the tires and found to my disappointment that they didn't work. I've been to three different stores to pair them with their tool. They said they must be defective. What now, it's high time to return it, and even if I paid for its replacement at a tire shop. So frustrated he warns me about tires every time I drive my truck.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

  • Dumped

Not relearnable with Ford TPMS19 tool

Installed on a 2014 F350 SD. My Ford TPMS Relearn Tool (TPMS19) doesn't wake them up (the tool works great with my old sensors as well as two other F150's). They worked, and I was hoping that the Ford Relearn tool would work after the initial programming (so I could relearn them after a tire change). Unfortunately it isn't. Now I'm looking for a cheaper conversion tool that is compatible. Lesson Learned - Test TPMS sensors BEFORE installing them in the wheels. If I had discovered this before…

It is better to program them first before putting them in the tire

I had two bad sensors in focus. I read the reviews and bet on it. Mounted the sensors on the wheels and bled the tires. Only 2 original Ford sensors could be reset with the elm tire tool, no other method worked. Broke the wheel again and removed the sensor. Went back and during this time ran the entire program sequence with the sensors lying next to the machine. All sensors learned from the first time. Essentially, I had to hold the sensor close to the TPM tool for it to read. I suspect these…
