Hobart 770276 200X Magnifying Helmet Lens Review

I bought this lens with a Hobart auto-dimming helmet. This is a great addition for old eyes. I am very satisfied with this product and will definitely buy it again.

Fits perfectly in my Vulcan helmet. The extra zoom helps. Good product and would recommend to anyone who needs this lens instead of wearing goggles under a welding mask.

This is my second lens. The first was 1.75x. This one isn't that good. For some reason it's a bit smaller so it can hang inside the helmet and fall out. But the increase is ok.

Big help with that without glasses. Would have given it 5 stars but had to tape the lens twice, it was too thick to fit in the slot of my Hobart blackout hood.

After struggling with reading glasses in my welding helmet for over 15 years, this is the way to weld. I use bifocals inside the helmet so with the helmet on I can see the objects to be adjusted and when the helmet is down I can see through that magnifying insert and weld! Easy to insert into the helmet and perfectly clear.
