Acetylene valve leaks

acetylene valve leaks when off, dangerous. The hoses are marked T for other gases, but the packaging is marked R for acetylene only. The flashlight is a flimsy, flimsy metal oxyfuel lever, and the throttle grips are brittle and poorly made. The best thing about this kit is the hose.

Pros
  • sets
Cons
  • operating speed

The torch set is well made:

I don't know why Hobart even includes welding goggles with this set, they are very poorly made from very cheap material. The plastic hinge protection was torn and so the whole lifting mechanism fell apart completely when first opened. For an otherwise decent set, the glasses are a cheap representation of Hobart and are best left out.

Pros
  • Gas welder
Cons
  • So far so good

poor quality good for welding machines

(WISH BACK FOR BETTER QUALITY PACKAGE 07/18/2020.) 1. The oxygen sensor whistles loudly when oxygen is discharged. 2. The cutting glasses fell apart on the first use! 3. The hose is very stiff and was 80 degrees the day I used it. In cold weather, they can tear. I'll try some more and most likely return it unless you send me new ones and I'll see if they get better. Please let me know what you expect from me! Thank you . Robert Tel: 218-343-1006
