HODOR Door Wedge (HD-01) Review

I get goose bumps how well this thing holds the door. Like he was born to hold the door. He keeps the door even in winter. He doesn't talk well - they don't say anything upstairs except "Hodor" - but, man, he can hold the door open.

I don't really understand why there are so many negative comments about it. The engraving is clean, deep and very legible - got a Brazilian cherry. It was exactly what I expected and makes the perfect gift for a GoT joke. Took photos to show how deep/readable the engraving is.

I was a bit concerned when I bought it because many reviews said that the lettering is not very visible. I went for the Brazilian cherry option and it looks amazing! I am very happy with what will be a gift for my friend who is obsessed with games. I haven't tested its effectiveness as a doorstop, but it can be a great decoration.

Bought this as a gift for a colleague who is obsessed with Game of Thrones. She spent the next 5 minutes in tears because she was laughing so hard (or crying so hard that she was laughing, who knows what happened before). Highly Recommended! Arrived relatively quickly, was in perfect condition when received and had the ability to evoke some form of emotion in my colleague.

gift to a friend, brother, husband and a few other friends that I envied. So I got another one to put in the Game of Thrones prize basket. This is really a good gift! It's a nice color, nice engraving and overall it's actually bigger than most doorstops. It's still a little more expensive than it looks, but oh well.

Really works and looks great. The best thing about my inner need for love is that most people at work don't understand what matters lol. I saw that there were no words on the lighter wood, so I chose a darker wood. I'm glad I fit well in my office. And the quality of this one is really good, I'm thankful because at first I thought I was crazy to pay that much for a doorstop. Quality is worth the price

I got this doorknob because HODOR is holding the door! Although I think whatever tree it is, dogs REALLY like it unfortunately because I caught mine gnawing on it and it mangled its little end before I could stop it :(If you have a mixed breed and get it, make sure you keep it away from where they can get it and/or rub it with bitter apple or something right away!
