Good fit. My only complaint is that it needs a little adjustment to get the alignment right. The three clips are designed to attach to specific parts of the Deco coil so it only fits one way. However, once the mount is properly aligned, it fits snugly and is secure enough to mount to any surface, including ceilings.

somehow they come with 3 screws. I don't know why, I used 2. The holder has 2 normal holes on one axis and 2 slotted holes on the other axis. It's not very useful to have slots in this configuration. The hollow wall anchors that come with it aren't the best. What got me thinking is a hole on the back of the holder that matches the reset button on the back of the M5. How do you access this hole once the holder is in place? Maybe just for alignment? Otherwise great as a wall/ceiling mount.

They were very easy to install. I was a bit frustrated that the screw holes line up with the ports on the top and not the "TP Link" markings. As such, it appears to be mounted at an angle, which is more of a complaint about the Deco units themselves than the mount. Also, the hole spacing does not match the default hole spacing in the output box. So you can't mount it to an outlet or whatever without drilling new holes.

I like the Deco Mesh system but I wanted to wall mount one of the items in the garage. I didn't need all three holders but they come in a set so I think I have extras now if I decide to move any of the others I have on flat surfaces. Very easy and self-explanatory assembly of the holder, then simply slide in the decoration. Deco keeps it secure yet a short distance from the wall to allow air to circulate. After it snapped into the bracket, I simply attached the cable to the wall to keep it taut

So they go well with TP-Link Deco M5, I have two of these so 2 packs is a good buy. They help improve the signal as they now sit against the wall instead of on the desk shelf I used to carry them on. I should have bought them sooner rather than later, but now I got them. If someone wants to place the Deco higher, you just need a longer USB-C cable for the device, or if you have a wall plug that hangs higher on the wall, otherwise the original cable only goes about 5 feet or so with it. be on…

Ideal for hanging m5 modules on the wall. How they perform in the long term remains to be seen, as the m5 vents are on the underside and mostly hidden by this bracket. Might need some tweaks to increase ventilation, but that gets fixed when I notice the units getting warm.

Like other people, I didn't like putting grilles on furniture. I have these hangers that work great. Unfortunately, my wife isn't happy with them hanging on her wall either. So I hid them behind the bookshelves. They still work great and there are no unsightly little grid blocks. I love my mesh WiFi and these little hangers are the finishing touch.

I was a bit surprised that the Deco M5 I bought didn't even have a keyhole on the bottom for wall mounting. I don't even think about it when I order them. Given that the M5s work great, I think most people really need to wall them up. And these things do it very well. Just screw it to the wall, plug in the M5 and... well, that's it. If you need to mount the M5s on a wall or ceiling, this will come in handy.
