Holder Uniden SDS100 BCD436HP Scanner Review

The battery that now comes standard with the SDS100 will not work with this mount. It will NOT fit flush and will tend to pop out of the part that mates with the round part on the back of the scanner. I'm still trying to find a workaround that is useful and functional. You would think that for $25 they do better product testing to make sure the crap they sell really works with the product it was designed for! Disappointment does not begin to express my feelings with this product.

Like the other reviewer I bought this to keep my SDS100 in the car but with a larger battery (which is now standard ) it prevents the scanner from being mounted flush or even mounted. I was able to save myself this purchase by using the detachable belt clip that came with the ScannerMaster nylon case. As you can see in the second picture, all you have to do is turn the existing bracket upside down and the clip will fit perfectly into the larger hole. 3 STARS because the product doesn't work out

This item is quite well made and not flimsy. The articulated arms can be brought into any position and are very easy to fix. It doesn't move when you tighten everything. The way they've secured it in cup holders of all sizes is really good and once in it doesn't budge. The only thing to note is that this device will not work seamlessly with the SD100 when a larger battery is installed.
