I do not recommend this product. It doesn't hold the phone very well right out of the box, and one of the tabs broke when I put it back in the cup holder. Then the gears holding the collar broke inside. Now he's not holding the phone at all.

The product was great at first. As the days went by, everything deteriorated very quickly. Completely broke 7 days after first use. One side of the handle fell out along with the spring inside and the foam fell off. Just an awful experience. My recommendation not to buy this product is a waste of money.

You get what you pay for. It is not expensive. Mine lasted about a week. The base broke, then the phone mount. During the week of use, when it didn't break, the phone bounced on the hand like a dummy. Admit it, if you want a secure mount, it will cost you six times as much. No negative review, just don't expect much for ten bucks.

My cup holders have two spring loaded levers that want to push this device out of the holder. The gooseneck is too flexible for my taste. When I got mine, the bottom left flap that the phone sits on didn't stay in place. Also, after a few weeks of use, I noticed that the springs that the jaws have to open to release the phone seem to have loosened. If I find a better one, it goes in the trash or at the flea market.

I like the cell phone cup holder because it fits any type of cup holder. My car is a 2004 Mercury Monterey, so the cup holders are completely different than today's cars. The only thing that bothered me was trying to unlock the retractable elements that hold the phone cup holder in the car cup holder. I had to use some WD-40 to loosen the latch on the cup holder to get these parts to pop out to the size required for my car cup holder.

This phone holder does its job perfectly. But it looks like made in China. weak plastic. But for the price, until it breaks, and then I better take it. Fits in cup holders, with extension. It has a flexible phone stick so I can see it in my line of sight without taking my eyes too far off the road. He has hands to hold the phone tightly. However, I don't think it will last if I break down a lot. Rotating doesn't work that well. All black, thin plastic. But like I said, you get what you pay for…

This is the second product I have bought. The first was for me and I use it all the time for listening to music as well as for navigation. I really like it and it makes my life a little less complicated. The second one I bought was for my dad's birthday.
