I hope I saved a lot of money and got a clean dryer vent.

My wife and I bought our sixteen year old house two years ago and we were struggling with how long it took our clothes dryer to fully dry the load. Before paying $150 to have that single vent professionally cleaned, I decided to spend $15 on this kit. It was easy to use, and after running it the length of the vent, I attached a drill bit to the end for extra cleaning as I pulled the brush out. It's got a big pile of lint on it, so I'm guessing the previous owners didn't clean the vent and it'sโ€ฆ

Works great, I pulled 3 capybaras out of the air ducts

I pulled a picture of a batch of down from the dryer. There was more. These tools are very basic, so it's helpful to have another pair of hands to hold the canal or to help in general. I decided to put it in the drill on a low setting. After about an hour we cleared the air duct completely and pulled out about 1 dog-sized pile of fluff. I will do this annually. From now on, and I consider this tool to be durable because it's so simple, has no visible damage, and doesn't have any parts that canโ€ฆ

He coped with his task on a trigger. The package did not come in the box as in the photo.

Package arrived in a clear plastic bag not the retail box as shown in the description. It probably has something to do with the deformation of the brush when I received it. Machined a 90 degree upward bend in the vent. I just had to be careful with the speed of the drill and also how fast I started drilling. I also pushed the brush in and out during the spin cycle to give an extra cleaning of the vent tube as the lint was hardened and difficult to dislodge. Continue using this method all theโ€ฆ
