Looks like a quality product. I think it will last a lot longer than the first $10-15 I bought. It comes with a high quality metal output filter.

My app is quiet, barely audible and pumps fuel like it should. IMO if you are replacing a non-electric pump with this you install a relay connected to your ignition switch and then a hot wire from your battery to the relay to the tilt pump and/or inertia switch. Buy a spare just in case.

I used this on a 500cc Holly Carb 390 Big Block. 4 psi and I don't need a regulator. I have used regulators and have always had flow issues. Also, I recommend using metal holly fuel filters, paper filters seem to ruin the pumps.

I bought this pump to solve some fuel problems on our 1929 Franklin car. I read somewhere that someone ran this pump on 6V, but that wasn't the case. The noise was very loud until the device booted up, and then abruptly quieted down. This is a pulse pump, not the vein pump I was expecting. Mounting directly to the frame can result in some of this pulsing noise being transmitted up the frame and hence into the cab. It's a good little pump if used properly.
