My young adult son's sinus problems are quite severe. Perfect size for his room, no filter! The number one reason why I love him. It doesn't leak! I read so many reviews so many others leaked! Reviews of this were never leaked as a "problem". Convinced of that, I will buy one for my bedroom! He also stands on a small table next to his bed. He doesn't complain about the noise!

I return it. It takes over 25 minutes for some heat to come out. Until then, it's a cool mist. It turns out it has an invisible heating element that runs at 65 watts. 65W hardly boils water. spit out dust. The opening for filling the tank is very small. The protruding handle means the tank doesn't sit well in the sink when filling. Good news: I love the size and it really moisturized the 120 square feet. Room.

First, DO NOT use this or any other humidifier with tap water if the water is considered "hard". Filling the tank is not easy as the handle protrudes from the top surface and therefore the tank is not on a flat surface when filling. The heat option is not very useful. The evaporating mist is a cooling process, so the energy used to heat the water is lost in the process. The device creates a large amount of fog and effectively increases the humidity in our house.
