Exactly as in the photo

I bought it as a prop for a church group on the Teaching of 10 Virgins. This is a copy of the oil lamps they carried with them in anticipation of the bridegroom. Exactly as pictured and perfect for classroom use.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • There are doubts

Good lamp, but the wick hole is clogged.

The lamp was delivered very quickly. The packaging was very protective. The lamp looks very nice - simple, not elegant. However, the hole that the wick goes in was clogged and I had to drill it open before the included wick could be inserted. You don't have to do this.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Defects exist

Please note that this lamp is NOT ready to use with .

Please note that this lamp is NOT suitable for olive oil. It has no inner coating and the olive oil penetrates the clay. it happened to me Put it on a shelf, but don't use it for incineration. Sorry what is this I want them to warn you.

Good product! on Home Decor Items

, I wanted a copy of an oil lamp from Jesus' time for a New Testament lesson I'm teaching. The lamp arrived in perfect condition the next day after ordering. I know this will help my students visualize the parable of the ten virgins, and I am happy to tell them that it was created in the Holy Land. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • For the old

Replica of the DOLL HOUSE.

It's tiny! I feel excluded. The description when I ordered said copy but it should have said "Dollhouse". For the price I paid - it's not worth it at all. I also see that the wick doesn't go through the hole it should. It's too late for me to look for another lamp for my event, but this is not what I expected at all. It's not as thick as my kitchen shears. It's the size of a small matchbox. automobile

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Long time

A bit of history

This is a fully working ceramic lamp that gives off an amazing amount of light BUT the ceramic needs to be sealed before it can be used as it is porous. Initially they probably used melted fat or something similar to fill the pores. I used shellac. Once sealed it will not leak and is ready to use. I thought the olive oil would smoke but it really doesn't. This is the lamp of the style to be used when Paul preached on the Sabbath eve after the Sabbath (the first day of the week), or something…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Weight

The lamp met my expectations and was delivered quickly.

The lamp met my expectations and was promptly delivered. I haven't tried adding oil and lighting a lamp as I used it in a small children's class. 08/2016 - I decided to light the oil in a lamp (certainly in my kitchen) and it worked exactly as expected. For those asking about the tealight, the lamp comes with one in the box. My phone is not very good on camera, but in the attached photos you can see a lamp with a candle and a wick burning olive oil. I'll probably hear the comment about oil…

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Reliability
