The banjo works well but is a bit small so it keeps getting refilled making a mess. Light weight, feels good in your hand and easy to clean after completion, suitable for small jobs.

As a professional repairer, I do a lot of drywall work. This tool saves an enormous amount of time compared to manual tape. It has paid off many times over.

The thing worked very smoothly - just enough dirt was applied to put the tape on it and it didn't splatter everywhere. I wasn't coordinated enough to keep the banjo and ribbon in place, so I asked someone to help me hold the end of the ribbon in place while I pulled it out. I would say it was an easy 50 percent time saver compared to my old method of plastering the wall, applying the tape and then scraping off the excess. I have used almost every banjo made in the last twenty years. It's NOT professional quality, but it's nowhere near what professional quality does! Use this in a homeowner app and realize it's made of plastic and will last the rest of your life.
