Suitable for urban do-it-yourselfers

The banjo works well but is a bit small so it keeps getting refilled making a mess. Light weight, feels good in your hand and easy to clean after completion, suitable for small jobs.

As a professional repairer, I have to do.

As a professional repairer, I do a lot of drywall work. This tool saves an enormous amount of time compared to manual tape. It has paid off many times over.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Tape

Worth the money even for amateurs

The thing worked very smoothly - just enough dirt was applied to put the tape on it and it didn't splatter everywhere. I wasn't coordinated enough to keep the banjo and ribbon in place, so I asked someone to help me hold the end of the ribbon in place while I pulled it out. I would say it was an easy 50 percent time saver compared to my old method of plastering the wall, applying the tape and then scraping off the excess. It was faster, cleaner and I think it worked better. I should have bought

and will work fine. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS

I have used almost every banjo made in the last twenty years. It's NOT professional quality, but it's nowhere near what professional quality does! Use this in a homeowner app and realize it's made of plastic and will last the rest of your life. Remember: CLEAN ALL YOUR TOOLS COMPLETELY every day you finish your work and they will serve you for a very long time. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS and you will be fine. Take it to a construction site or try to "go drywall" and at the end of the day it will be…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not the best
