Gray Home Dynamix Lyndhurst Sheraton Runner Area Rug - 1 ft 9 in x 7 ft 2 in Review

Wooden floors and I needed a space soft enough for my granddaughter to crawl on. It worked. There was an unpleasant smell upon unpacking, but once I unrolled it the smell was gone within 24 hours.

This carpet is very attractive. The pile is short but thick. It is comfortable to walk or sit on. Arrived with a small defect on one edge but when we realized it would be obscured by furniture we decided not to return it. We haven't had to clean it yet other than the usual vacuuming.

Rug Exactly As Pictured. I like the look, the thickness is great, it doesn't curl or shift. Colors as in the photo. My only gripe is the feel - being synthetic it definitely feels stiff. Not soft like a natural fiber carpet. I'm keeping it though because it looks good and is cheap.

Looks a bit cheap, but it's not quite stiff. I don't really like waves, but I'll probably call Steamboat Stanley to smooth it out for me, or google a method I can use myself. If you're on the same budget as me I'd recommend buying it, but if you have money to spend I'd suggest you look elsewhere, maybe Wayfair or something. I'm a student so I don't have that much money to spend yet.

I like the look of this rug. It is very soft and arrived in excellent condition. My only problem is the size. It's listed as 122 inches long, but when it arrived it was actually 10ft 7in, 5in longer than advertised. If exact length is an issue, as mine almost was, this rug may not be the right fit for you. It overlaps another part of the floor which wouldn't be my choice but I love the rug so much I'll keep it to myself.

I don't buy expensive carpets, but I look a lot before buying because cheap carpets look clear. inexpensive. It's not like this. The photos I've uploaded are "wavy" because I just opened the bag they were sent in and they not only have ripples but also gas. Since blue is my least favorite color, I was blown away by how beautiful it is.
