Works better than the one that comes with the blender

Works great! No more stopping to clean the sides of the bowl. Nearly. "Wipes" the bowl like a rubber spatula. Can be washed in the dishwasher. Plastic so I'd be a bit hesitant on a really hard dough. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOUR MIXER! There is more than one shell size/configuration. Locate and locate the exact model number on the bottom base of your blender.

Replaces the KitchenAid Flat Whisk.

Slightly loose but no problem. Even though there are two cloths instead of one, it's a pleasure to mix non-stop and use a spatula to wipe down the sides of the bowl to get a good mix. As I was mixing it I noticed that the second cleaner isn't really needed as the bowl is completely wiped by the cog. Any of these will work but this one is of good quality and only time will tell how durable it is.

I got this because I use the paddle racket most of the time and don't like stopping to scrape the sides with a spatula. I was so excited when it arrived but when I checked to see if it fit I was disappointed. It doesn't even touch the sides of the bowl. There is no way to touch and scratch anything. It also seems a bit flimsy in its design. It doesn't seem to be well constructed. I have a 4.5 liter convertible kitchen aid that should be compatible with the advertised specs. I bought my blender…

Outstanding Product

One problem with Kitchen Aid whisks, particularly when using a recipe that requires several minutes of beating, is that you have to stop from time to time and rub down the sides with a spatula . Time. Not surprisingly, several people came up with the same idea — putting a flexible rubber "lip" on the new whisk so it "wipes" the sides of Kitchen Aid's metal bowl. And this bitter does it good. A particular cookie recipe I baked used half a pound of butter and a few different types of sugar. It…
