Do not buy. It's lighter than a shoebox and very cheap. i give it back It weighs almost nothing and the controls are very cheap. I think you could crack this in about 15 seconds with minimal effort. Spend more to get a higher quality product.

Lasted less than a year before the keyboard started to fail. Beeps a few random times, can't press a single button, but the batteries aren't dead. I can't remember where I put the keys, so I (a fairly short person) was able to EASILY open the door with a crowbar. The door is indeed "reinforced”, but the metal in front of the latches bends like an ice cream spoon. I do NOT recommend.

Seems simple enough. Press a red button, enter the code and this is your code to open the box. The problem I had with the mine was that everyone who has ever made it didn't measure it correctly and the door on one side was too long and I couldn't open the box at all without prying it open with a knife . Fortunately, my husband is always on hand in his workshop. He had to grind the metal to make the door open and close easily. I would say wherever you do it you need a little more quality control

The product worked very well after I received it. However, after not using it for several months, I found that I could no longer open it with a combination and that the only way to do it was to use the key that came with it. Thinking the batteries were dead, I put new ones in, but to no avail. The safe is exactly what is advertised. My only difficulty was finding the red button to use when entering my digital code to open the door. It is located behind the battery door, where the batteries are installed. Once I've removed the battery cover and checked, it's clearly visible.
