Convenient Home Select Oven Bags for Turkey Roasting - Any Size Review

I ordered this for Thanksgiving and the carrier sent me an 8lb roast size. Luckily I had enough time to send it back and get the right size. The correct item was as expected.

In the question and answer, the seller said that this package can be used for pickling. However, the package was immediately leaked. There's no point in using this bag if it's leaking. I do not recommend this product for pickling.

I got KFC firewood. It's fun to have that fried chicken smell, but the order is pretty strong, even with the original box, the log comes in. I put it in a garbage bag and the smell was still strong. Then I put it in one of those bags and it killed every smell. I'm sure they're great for cooking turkey, too.

Big enough for a 12 lb turkey. I could probably cook a 20 pound turkey in a bag. Easy to use, comes with drawstrings to keep the bag closed and keeps the turkey nice and juicy! Just remember, it cooks faster in a bag, so decrease the cooking time accordingly and check your turkey with a meat thermometer. I overcooked mine a bit but it was still juicy.

The bag is much thinner and a different material (a bit stiff and cracked) than the ones I've used before. I was afraid it would break, but it didn't break when I put the turkey in. Even though my turkey was only 12 pounds. The turkey is cooked very juicy, brown, tender. Nice. Do not buy from Anis Market Place however as the packaging says there are 3 bags in the package and when I first opened it I thought they were all there but when I pulled it out there was only ONE bag there. Haven't actually used these turkey bags. I wrap them around the springform pan when I make a cheesecake! They prevent water from encrusting when baking in a water bath. This is my second time buying these packs and I plan to buy more in the future. To wrap the edges of the pan, you will be notified if there is a tiny hole in the wrapper, which is difficult to see with the naked eye.
