Works great on boxes, houses and paddocks

Great product, only reason I didn't give full stars is the zip ties. I bought a bungee with a ball on the end instead of attaching it to play a bit more so the wind doesn't tear it up otherwise I would definitely buy it again

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No

NOT 10 FT AT 10 FT in boxes, houses and enclosures

This is NOT 10 FEET BY 10 FEET. I just bought a 10' x 10' kennel and ordered it at the same time. Unfortunately, it was only about 9 feet by 9 feet, leaving large gaps. The material is already torn and worn from having to pull it so tight. I am very disappointed with this purchase to say the least.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • flimsy

Not very strong good for dogs

The last shade cover I had was 5+ years old. It's about a month old and the bushings are already cracked in some places. We'll be lucky to survive a summer with this one. We also had to replace all the zip ties because they are just cheap. Definitely not highly recommended.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Negative gift

Sturdy, but needs better support than flimsy zippers

We received 3 of these cable ties for our dog run. They make so much difference in shading for dogs. Sturdy, withstands the strong wind we get. However, the straps that came with it weren't strong enough. We terminated with wire and withstood high winds for more than 2 months.

survived hail, strong wind

I wish it had better mounting brackets than zip ties but survived hail and high winds had to cut zip ties to allow the weight of the hail to tear it apart but the rings seem to hold up. Use 2 ratchet straps underneath to hold it so the kennel door doesn't get caught on it and tied some zip ties around the ratchet straps and through the lid.

Pros
  • sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good tarp, cheap flimsy zips

The tarp itself is good and gives great shade but comes with cheap flimsy zips that broke right away (on day one!) so the tarp was in no time got stuck. We had to go to Home Depot and buy thicker, higher quality zip ties to better secure it. Might be a GOOD buy if you're willing to buy other zip ties as well if the crappy ones break (and they will).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Not worth it after the first one

I used it on a 10x10 doghouse that I turned into a chicken coop. At first the product appeared to fit properly and work well. Now that I've had it for a month and a half it seems to have shrunk. All edges fold in, leaving large gaps between each band. So there are huge gaps where there is no shade and where chickens can get out or where predators can get in. It seems to shrink and lose its shape every day, so I'd say it's not a very durable material.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Functionality

Trash!: Boxes, Hutches & Runs

Bought 2 and thought they would be perfect for one of my dog kennels and chicken coop we have just built. I put it in the chicken coop tonight and it was a cheaper quality than I expected as I have one that looks a lot like a dog house I bought last year. Well, this one was already starting to tear and tear as I unwrapped it and tried to put it on top of the chicken coop. I am now afraid even to try to put the one I got into the second kennel I have. Another thing I also noticed was the…
