Exactly what I was looking for! As the reviews say, this is NOT the yellow/gold as shown in the picture. It's more of a taupe but goes VERY well with my gray sofa and other brown furniture. Such a nice neutral. The fabric was softer than I thought it would be and I easily tucked 4 rolled quilts into the storage space. The lid now has handles to keep it from slipping too much, but I still wouldn't dare sit on it for long. Great bang for your buck!

I definitely love the look of this ottoman. It's not amazing quality, but it does the job. We got this to replace our coffee table when our little one started trying to get up and walk. Some seams come undone. I noticed that he was with us on the second day. But it's also not very expensive compared to other genuine leather stools, so it's not the end of the world. It serves the purpose we need it for. Just something to watch out for when spending your money on it.

I ordered this to sit in front of two small upholstered chairs. I have this color on pillows and other places. in my family room. The chairs I matched it to are brown. A kind of burgundy color. It's rich, not too light and not too dark. The fabric is good quality velvet. Considering the price I paid, this ottoman looks like it will cost at least $100. It's a good size too. Slightly larger than your average smaller ottoman but not too big for my situation and ideal height. It offers enough space

I like the brown color because it matches our chairs really well and the size is good too BUT, not only is it missing the necessary parts for the legs (not that big of a deal ), it is actually crushed in one place from both the top and bottom (see photo). I deliberately bought this used/very good condition, but when does Revain or the seller actually make sure not to just scatter total garbage! I love this stool! If you click on the picture you will see that I didn't add the legs. I wanted the footrest to be a bit lower as my feet hurt if I hold them too high! The legs add about 3 inches to the ottoman so I checked the underside of the footstool for any hard or sharp edges and found nothing. I can move the footrest easily and safely. I put the legs in the storage compartment in case I want to add them later. The top of the lid does not slip off. I read reviews of where it was. For me…
