2 of these installed on the project. There are no problems installing them. I turned on the water and one of the connections broke. I thought I made an installation mistake (complicated) by not fully inserting the tube into the valve. I put the tube back in, turned on the water, and let it go. I got in the car, went to HD and bought an Aculukus. Install new valve and no problem. The rest of the original works fine, but the 50% error rate is a bit high for me.

Very easy to use valve with PEX, copper or PVCC. Just make sure the end of the pipe is cut cleanly and doesn't have a rough surface. Just plug in the tube and you're done! Warning: These valves do not come with collets like Watts or some other brands. Without the clamps, I accidentally caused a leak when I pushed on the end of the valve while installing the foam pipe insulation. I was able to order clamps from Fresh Water Systems as they are not available from Revain. The clips are really cheap
